Pastor Stroud has been the Senior Pastor of Fern Hill Baptist Church for over eighteen (18) years. He was born in Iredell County, NC and attended North
Iredell High School. Pastor Stroud was a student in the Physical Education
program at Catawba College, Salisbury, NC and a player on the Catawba football
team. During his time at Catawba, Pastor Stroud responded to the call to
ministry. He has earned his B.A. of Theology, Master of Theology, and Doctor of
Pastoral Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary, Camilla, Georgia.
Pastor Stroud has been a pastor for over twenty-five (25) years and has
pastored three (3) church including Fern Hill. He was a Youth Leader in his
home church of Pleasant View Baptist, as well as Gays Chapel and Cochran Street Baptist
for over five (5) years and was able to grow those ministries both numerically
and spiritually. In addition to being Senior Pastor of Fern Hill, a sitting Board of Directors member for Hope Christian Academy Mooresville, he is also employed with Turning Point Homes Inc. in the field of mental health. We are very thankful to be mentored by Pastor Stroud.
